Youtube as a Sharing Tool

Youtube, a popular video-sharing community, has gained a  substantial role in our community nowadays.  It is a social media, that by definition, is a place where users create content and share. This website's big user platform may be useful for a variety of reasons. It may help spread an idea, build a career, or even share your life and experiences with the world.

Example #1:

It may not seem to have a very helpful purpose, but an aim for popularity. The video is actually to donate an amount of money to Save the Children and Refugee Council through ads. It is a representation of how YouTube can  help spread an idea, as it was seen an impressive  3,790,874 times, where most of the times watched contributed to the institutions, whose objectives are to guarantee to children their rights  and help refugees to rebuild their lives. Campaigns like these can be easily made  using this social media, and they are accessible to almost everyone.

Another example of how YouTube's sharing properties may be useful are the doors the social media opens. When a content is shared in YouTube, it is probable that millions of people will check it out. This is a way people expose their talents and build the experience to begin a career, as an YouTuber or any areas of interest. This aspect may be considered very important for young adults as it is a interesting way of discovering what they're good at, to show what they can do admirably, and to enter a community of people with common interests, as well as it is a way to start a future profession or a way to reach a dream. One example of the latter is KickThePJ, a creative YouTuber, whose channel presents a variety of stories and characters. He made a web series called Oscar's Hotel for Fantastic Creatures, which was an achievement of his and many of the actors participating are members of the YouTube Community.

YouTube may also be used to share experiences. An example of it are people that traveled and make a daily vlog of their time there, or even YouTube channels of a person's experience living in a foreign country. A brazilian channel called Aqui Pode - A vida no Japão tells a lot of aspects and things a person may encounter while living in Japan, such as jobs, places to visit, traditions, and many other japanese life characteristics. Another channel, Rachel & Jun, explores social aspects of the same country.

Summing up, YouTube is a valuable sharing tool in many facets of life, either to share ideas, stories, memories, experiences, or just to create something you like. It also helps people to learn different things, as there is easy access to information through YouTube, and to get along with a community.
